Why do some people continue to use "Jehovah" as a name for God?

My understanding is that Biblical scholarship suggests that the vowels in YHWH, which is "I am Who am" the way He identified Himself to Moses, would make it Yahweh. I believe that is commonly accepted by Christians and Jews as most accurate.
