How do I stop getting infatuated with guys?

I am a sopre in high school and I seem to think that I like some guys when I have absolutely no idea what their personalities are like. Does this ever happen to you? Since I don't know his personality, and he is good-looking, I try to imagine what his personality is like and then think that I like him. How do I stop doing this? I just want what God wants for me and I want to wait for him to provide.
