Why are people so uptight on yahoo answers?

You make a legit comment, joke, etc. and people call you a bigot, racist, or just insult you. Why does no one have a sense of humor these days? I asked a question about suicide last night and someone wrote, 'See you in the afterlife'. I thought it was funny and it gave me a little laugh even in my dark mood. Sometimes you just have to laugh you know?
