I've had bronchitis for a month, how much longer will it last?

I've been to the doctor twice, the first time he gave dm syrup, and 250mg of antibiotics, the second time he gave me dm syrup and 500mg of antibiotics, the coughing has gotten much better i can sleep, i cough around 3 times a day, but i still feel a little congested in my throat area, my nasal pages feel congested but theirs not much mucus, something like allergies, should i go for heavier antibiotics? or just wait it out?
