What to make a cheater feel after they get caught?

He shouldn't need time to "heal" over this other girl. That might as well be a slap to your face! He should be begging and pleading you to take him back. You should not feel guilty at all. Obviously it is both of your faults for the marriage going bad in the first place, but did you go and cheat on him...I'm uming not so you can't blame yourself for his betrayal. My husband was so remorseful last year when I caught him. I had all of his clothes packed and waiting for him on the porch for when he came home from work and he brought all of his belongings back in and swore we could work this out and set up for us to go to counseling. We talked and talked and talked for many nights and went to the counseling and it was really good for the both of us. I don't think I'll ever fully trust him again, but it's best I stay for our family. He is so sucking up the attention you're giving him like he is the victim here. That's crazy! You should act like you want nothing to do with him, if he doesn't feel remorse or sorry for what he did, then there is no reason why he would hold back from doing it again.
