Is it safe to travel to Cali and Medellin Colombia to visit friends??

Of course it's safe to go to Colombia. People have this sily idea that Colombia is just drug lords, Farc, and chaos everywhere! That's absolutely wrong. Colombia is a beautiful country and Cali and Medellin are even more beautiful than Bogota. Visit your friends and have a great time! Colombia is as safe as any other country in the world, just take the normal precautions you would take when travelling anywhere and enjoy life.
