You like Orwell? Have you read Animal Farm? You gotta, and you gotta see the 1999 live action movie with Kelsey Grammar and Julia Louis-Dryphess (I can't spell her name, pardon me. You can probably figure it out.) Its an amazing movie! I also LOVED The Cay. I wish I could remember who it was by. It was the one with the boy and the man who get marooned on an island. Very good, but I have not read it in 10 years. You would like it. If you like Sandra Brown, I just finished The Witness today, and it was way good. Chilling, racy, amazing. Not exactly in the same league as the books you mentioned but she is a good storyteller. Its kinda pg-13, so if you don't like y scenes you may not like it. :-P
